He also stressed that the provisions of the accompanying law should be applied to consumer protection and that its provisions should not prejudice the provisions of the Competition Protection and Prevention of Monopolistic Practices Law No. 3 of 2005, as well as the National Food Safety Authority Law No. 1 of 2007.
The law provides that the economic courts are competent to adjudicate civil and commercial disputes arising from the application of the provisions of the law. The Administrative Court of Justice is competent to adjudicate administrative disputes arising from the application of its provisions
Article 15 is considered an effective material in any contract for the sale of goods, including real estate, where the article provides the following:
It is not permissible to advertise the sale of real estate units, or the contract to sell them, or to sell the land intended for construction or partition, except after obtaining a building permit, in accordance with the provisions of the Building Law promulgated by Law No. 119 of 2008
The contract shall not include any requirement to meet the seller or his successor with a percentage, fees, or commission from the price of the buyer’s action in the real estate unit, or in return for such action.
